THE CABINET

Every month, one thing. A film, a writer, an image, an idea that will not stay in its category.

The Cabinet is a series of standalone encounters. Two hours spent in serious, unhurried attention to a single object. Not a lecture. Not a class. Something closer to what happens when you pick up an object in a strange shop and cannot put it down. You do not know exactly what it is. You know it is doing something.

We look at it until we find out what.

No Hay Banda

October 2026 · Online · Two hours · Prior viewing of Mulholland Drive required

You have watched it more than once and you still do not know what happened. In this workshop we watch Mulholland Drive the way a depth psychologist reads a dream - not to solve it but to follow it.

Prior viewing required. If you have not seen it, watch it twice.

The Mescaline Journals

November 2026 · Online · Two hours

Henri Michaux went inward and found a universe with its own geography, its own creatures, its own laws. In this workshop we sit with that writing until the strangeness becomes familiar - and the familiar becomes strange.

The Watcher

January 2027 · Online · Two hours

Something is watching. It has no face to attach the eye to. This workshop does not rationalise.

The Heteronym

February 2027 · Online · Two hours

Fernando Pessoa kept them in a trunk. Dozens of fully realised separate people, each with their own biography, their own philosophy, their own handwriting. Who else are you?

Each Cabinet event is complete in itself. You do not need to have attended the previous one. You need only to be willing to stay with something long enough for it to become interesting in ways you did not anticipate.
